Date: 16 Nov 21, 17 Nov 21 & 18 Nov 21 Location: Fablab @ T11 & ECTC Members Present: Trumann & Shawn Objective:  1. To develop a presentable prototype using acrylic  Learning points from previous acrylic prototype (Practical 3A) 1. Acrylic solvent glue should be used instead of  GOOP glue (silicon glue)     - To give a nice glue. (no glue marks on prototype) 2. Change in procedures to glue the prototype (to improve ease of gluing pieces) 3. Use of different color acrylic (luminous green for top portion containing electrolysis fluid and tinted black for the bottom portion containing wiring) 4. Use of set square or piece with 90 degree angle to ensure pieces that require perpendicular gluing is glued at a 90 degree angle Notes: Ensure all acrylic pieces that are intended to be glued using acrylic solvent is sanded using a higher grit sand paper, then a lower grit sand paper with water to ensure a very smooth gluing surface. Gluin...

Before starting the Laser Cutter Machine,  c onvert File into DXF, save sketch individually  Pre Built Laser Cutting Models can be found in Makercase Download DSF or SVG (Factor type files: Mathematical formulas, ensure sharpness) 1. Main Switch have to be on 2. Air compressor must be on so the chamber can have air    Switch is the red dot  3. Turn in the air circulation machine   4. Turn on the laser cutter machine and it will initialise the system. The light will be turn on   5. Log into the computer and press Coreldraw and skip. Create new file    *Ensure the file is at 0-1000 (slightly) by 700 by default.  ⁃ Open our DXF file in our thumb drive and Coreldraw will identify the available files  ⁃ Import the file by press the file tab  ⁃ Setting: Metric  ( 1 unit = 1 mm)  Scaling: 1:1 ⁃ select okay and move the mouse cursor to the place we put our board in the machine. Or u can a...
